Update: still dealing with generator issues in Charleston

Pics below of the captain in the engine bay, which is beneath the floor of the galley for those of you unfamiliar with the pilot house design of Betsy. James from Zimmerman Marine helped us out big time with switching out the generator impeller, picking out the pieces of the old impeller, and adding pressure gauges onto the fuel filters for the motors. He is still sorting a potential air bubble In the cooling system for the generator, but the wind picked up and there is no point in leaving the marina today. I am ubering to the local Cummins dealer for parts and fluids. Captain Ralph changed the fuel filters and despite the tank cleaning and fuel polishing in Jacksonville before we left, Betsy was a dirty girl!!!

  1. Dad's looking a little thin on top in that engine bay view! I would imagine there will be even less hair on top by the time this trip is over. Lol
